WeCAN’s Ready to Learn program distributes donated school supplies year-round to low-income families in the surrounding community.

Birthday Shelf
WeCAN’s Birthday Shelf enables families in crisis or financial need to be able to celebrate a child’s birthday by “shopping” in our Birthday Zone. Cake, frosting and party supplies are also available.

Adopt-A-Family, holiday program
WeCAN sponsors Adopt-A-Famiy, a holiday giving program. This program helps connect families with anonymous holiday sponsors.

Medical Insurance Application Assistance
WeCAN provides assistance for families and individuals in the application process for Medical Assistance or Minnesota Care.

Hennepin County Food Support Application Assistance
WeCAN provides assistance for families and individuals in the application process for Food Support by hosting a Hennepin County outreach worked at the WeCAN office.

Eligibility: All Family Support services require an id and piece of mail with current address dated within the last 30 days.
