WeCAN’s Birthday Shelf enables families in crisis or financial need to be able to celebrate a child’s birthday.

Program Description
Donations from community churches, businesses, organizations and area residents allow WeCAN to serve low/moderate-income families in celebrating their children’s birthday.

WeCAN provides these items based on availability:

* Cake mix
* Frosting
* Birthday cake candles/holders
* Party plates, cups and napkins
* Balloons
* Party hats and favors
* Invitations

In addition to the above parents can pick out a small and large gift for the birthday child.

Recently WeCAN expanded the program for a children attending a birthday party. We realize how important it is for all children to be able to accept invitations and to socialize. Parents are welcome to bring their child to our office and pick out a special gift for the birthday boy or girl.

Intake Procedure
Call for appointment. Must have utility bill or mail postmarked within the past 30 days to verify address.
