Meals on Wheels – Delivers nutritious midday meals to people who are eldery or disabled, homebound, and unable to prepare their own meals. Site lists each MOW program that has been assigned a geographic area and is responsible for that area.

Ready to Learn
WeCAN is collecting new school supplies for families in need. In 2009 WeCAN was able to provide school supplies to over 230 children K-12. Supplies will be distributed to families at the WeCAN office Wednesday, August 25th and Thursday, August 26th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please see our Ready to Learn page for a list of school supplies needed.

TWO days per week!
A Hennepin County Outreach Worker is available at the WeCAN office Mondays and Tuesdays. Due to the high demand, Cheryl has additional time to meet clients at our office.
To make an appointment, call 612-596-1300 and do not enter a case number. When the scheduler comes on the phone, ask for an appointment in Mound.

Taste of the Lakes
Friday September 24, 2010
